Q: Will I need to reprogram my factory radio?
A: Yes. You'll need a tech 2 tool (handheld OBDII Programmer) available at GM dealers. If the dealer is not familiar with the programming, have them contact GM's radio repair center and ask how to turn on the back-up camera input.
Q: Are the wire lengths sufficient for a crew cab 6.5' box?
A: Yes
Q: Will this fit a 2007 classic gmc 3500?
A: Yes it will work as long as it has comp/temp in the mirror.
Q: My tailgate handle doesn't have a lock - are handles available without the hole for the lock, or can a lock be added?
A: Our bezel has a hole for tailgates with locks. We also provide a plug in our kit to cover up the hole in the handle if you don't have a lock. You can also add the lock cylinder (GM# 25775278) from your local dealer, if you wish to have a locking tailgate.
Q: Can I use this kit with my aftermarket Navigation radio (ie. Rosen, Pioneer, Kenwood etc.)
A: Yes, you just need to perform an easy modification to a connector. Contact us and we will supply instructions.
