Pioneer improves on it's already famous TS-Series shallow mount subwoofers with the introduction of the 2nd generation. These low profile subwoofers fit behind a truck seat or in any tight space while delivering the bass performance you need. This subwoofer can be installed in a ported or sealed enclosure and Pioneer recommends the UD-SW250D Down firing subwoofer enclosure or the UD-SW250T truck wedge style subwoofer box (Sold separately) as they are both designed for this sub. The Pioneer TS-SW2502S4 can also be used in infinite baffle configurations and IB setups use the trunk as the enclosure!
